I got 6 kudos, in other words, honors/praises on my college's success platform. The courses involved with the kudos are English 1101, Theatre 1100, BUSA 1210, Biology 1101L, and Biology 1101. This is something that means a lot to me. By the way, my first kudo was from a success advisor to say how awesome I was doing overall at the start of the semester.

I got the Piedmont University Trustee Scholarship, the highest scholarship the university offers to its deserving students. The scholarship awards me $9,500 per semester, greatly assisting with my school financial obligations. According to the letter, I got this scholarship because they wanted to commend my outstanding achievements in high school which were revealed by my transcript and academic success. I am so proud of this

I was accepted to Piedmont University not too long after I submitted my application on apply to college day at my high school and that made me really happy and excited cause long before I applied, I had already fallen in love with this university.

Taite Ranker was recognized for earning an academic award

In high school, I got 4 all A honor roll medals, 2 English medals, and 2 science medals. I also received a 4-year varsity letter for excellence on my high school archery team. In addition to this, I also received a range assistant trophy and a special plaque for showing outstanding skills as a range officer. Some of my duties were using the whistle to indicate the beginning of different activities and retrieving arrows.

Community service

I volunteered for Midnight Operation in Banks County, GA as a role player. My role was to act like I had severe critical injuries and deafness due to a gunshot. The training deputies and EMTs drug or walked me outside to the front or to the ambulance. This was a lot of fun and I am proud to have done this and helped train important first responders.
