The URI Foundation raises charitable support for the University of Rhode Island specifically for student scholarships, faculty support, and for funds to be used at the discretion of each of the deans of colleges at URI. In Fall 2014, I personally raised $5,130 for the Fund for URI through charitable donations from alumni. I was awarded the title of high achiever for my success receiving pledges.
