Supplemental Instruction Leader: PH121 at Southeast Missouri State University

I worked closely with Dr. Johnathan Kessler and tutorial services to supply independent supplemental teaching for PH218: Intro to Physics II at Southeast Missouri State University. I facilitated discussion and guided students in the content and strategies to understand the material. SEMO uses the same program as UMKC; a video overview is provided below.

Undergraduate Research - Breakout / Escape Room

I created and implemented a breakout reveiw activity designed to prepare students in PH218 (Physical Science: A Process Approach) for their test. Breakouts are a cooperative learning activity used to promote critical thinking skills and engage students. My undergraduate research was to build the boxes from scratch and analyze the effect it has on attitude and understanding based on an attitude survey and the pre- and post- test data.
