I am a sophomore majoring in Mechanical Engineering at Oregon Tech. I have lived in the area my whole life, and find it an amazing place to grow up and be a part of. FBLA Video Game Design Project 2016
My team and I designed a simple 2D shooter video game that had to meet the judging criteria and involve certain aspects of our school. We made a presentation about our video game and had to present it to a panel of judges at FBLA state in Portland, Oregon. At state we placed 4th which qualified us for nationals, again at nationals in Atlanta, Georgia we presented our project.

VEX Robot Design Projects 2014-16
My VEX Robot Design Projects, were over the course of two years with two separate teams. Each year we had to design a robot to meet the challenges of competition, stacking cubes, shooting balls, etc. We designed our robots for driver and autonomous mode which was needed for competition. We had to keep a design journal to present to judges at competition to show what we had done with our robots. Over the course of two years my teams and I have won multiple design awards, tournaments, and even placed high at the state competition.

Engine Rebuild Project
As a requirement for graduating high school, we had to pick a project to do and then present the work we had done to a panel of judges. I chose to do my project on my not function 2001 Oldsmobile Alero. I started this project in July and finished in January due to involvement in school. I began the project with little understanding of automotive technology. My mentor was long time diesel mechanic Mike Reynolds. After completion and presentation, I earned one of the top scores in my class for the project.
