Support the Logistics Supply Chain Planning, Projects, and Procurement department by performing modeling and financial functions at a high level. Process over 300 Capital Appropriate Requests on a yearly basis, with a value of over $30M enabling a forecast of over $8M in annualized benefits. Maintain over 1.5 million Fulfillment Center slot combinations to ensure that the information is current and use SQL to obtain the reporting that is needed to maintain optimal operations within the facilities which ensures timely support for Staples customers. Provide the Inventory Management and Global Design group at Staples with the information that they need in order to make sku stocking and design change decisions within the Fulfillment Centers and Distribution Centers.

• Provided capacity planning and financial analysis support for logistics infrastructure projects. • Provided analytical support to ensure the development of logistics network and facility infrastructure strategies. • Assisted with data collection and preparation for analyses in financial modeling efforts, scenario comparisons. • Ran/maintained capacity models as required – prepared and distributed monthly reports using Microsoft SQL database. • Performed primary data collection to support ongoing facility design and long-term supply chain network strategy efforts. Ran existing macros/queries as needed to assemble raw data for input into models or other analysis efforts. • Assembled Capital Appropriation Requests (CARs) and submitted as needed to support the growing business. • Assisted in expansion of the existing Tactical and Strategic modeling base to include all facilities from existing global network, including any new acquisitions. • Assisted in the financial modeling of logistics capital projects (retrofits and new facilities) • Ad hoc assignments as required (i.e. facility characteristics comparisons, upgrade RFP’s)
