DBXray is a database security analysis platform I developed to help developers identify access-control weaknesses, misconfigurations, and unintended data exposure in PostgreSQL and Supabase applications. The platform analyzes database structure, Row Level Security (RLS) configuration, policies, roles, grants, foreign-key relationships, and access patterns to identify potential security risks. DBXray uses deterministic security rules rather than relying solely on AI-generated findings, allowing results to be reproducible and tied directly to observable database configuration. I designed the platform around a read-only security model. Developers generate an introspection query, execute it against their own database, and provide the resulting snapshot to DBXray for analysis. This allows the platform to perform detailed security assessments without requiring permanent database credentials or unrestricted access to production systems. My work on DBXray includes application architecture, PostgreSQL security research, Supabase security analysis, RLS and permission auditing, deterministic vulnerability detection, remediation validation, frontend development, and deployment. DBXray was built to answer a simple question: your application works, but who can actually access the database?

As Lead Developer at DaemonCore Academy, I oversee the architecture, development, and technical direction of an interactive cybersecurity education platform focused on hands-on learning. My role includes designing the application architecture, developing the frontend and backend systems, building interactive training environments, creating security-focused tooling, and translating real-world cybersecurity concepts into structured technical exercises. I also oversee platform security, deployment, testing, and the continued development of new courses and training features. A major focus of my work is ensuring that students learn the fundamentals behind security tools rather than simply memorizing commands. The platform is designed around practical workflows where students learn a concept, apply it in a controlled environment, analyze the resulting evidence, document their findings, and understand remediation and retesting.
