Thuy Hoang

Ms. Thuy owns profound experience working in international development projects where capacity building and behavior changes were key components in various fields of family planning, reproductive health projects, prevention of avian influenza and emerging pandemic threats, and wildlife farming and conservation. Currently, she oversees the operation of Wildlife Conservation Society (WCS) in Viet Nam with a growing annual budget of about two million coming from private donors and Governments of EU, US, UK, and German. Ms. Thuy is familiar with participatory and competency-based capacity building, behavior change communication interventions to promote more protective practices and mitigate zoonotic risks in human and animals; empowering enforcement officers including police, forest rangers, customs, procuracy to combat wildlife trafficking.
