Ap art was a course that helped prepare you for college. It also gave you the independence to choose what type of art you wanted to do for your portfolio throughout your senior year. The portfolio was of your choosing, and you had to choose a topic and create pieces that helped describe that topic. Throughout the four years of high school, you were required to take specific art courses before you were allowed to move on to Ap art.
