February, 05 2020 - Verified by SUNY New PaltzI am continuing my leadership role as the acting head of the Parking Office. My main responsibilities are to assist with permit distribution to campus members and visitors, along with helping individuals address parking tickets they may have received.
I stepped into this temporary position as a request from the Director of this department. In this position, I was in charge of verifying and distributing payroll documents to the entirety of campus faculty and staff.
This position assists students, faculty, and community members with obtaining parking passes and rectifying tickets. Routinely coordinate with internal and external entities of the organization. As a student, I stepped into a leadership role twice and assumed responsibilities as the acting head of the department.
As a Student Assistant, I answered phones, processed paperwork, and generally assisted students and parents throughout the financial aid process in any way that I could. As my time there increased, my responsibilities did as well. By my time of graduation, I was in charge of the office's supply management and training other incoming student workers.
