I published a story as a contributor for the Spring Issue of 2017 and now serve as an Assisstant Editor and Author Relations, which involves ten hours a week of Quiver meetings, reading submissions, organizing campus events, recruiting new editors, and interacting with contributors via email and events.

LiveLit Storytelling Club

As a storyteller in the 2016-2017 year, I attended practices in order to help the other storytellers brainstorm, refine my own stories, and participate in group critiques. We performed in a local restaurant (a smashing success) alongside peers and faculty, all with amazing true stories to tell. Now, as of four and a half hours ago, I am President of Live Lit Club, which includes keeping track of funding deadlines, representing the club at student senate, and running the organization email.

Improv Club

Improv meets Thursdays, Sundays, and sometimes Fridays from 9-11pm to play games and do scenework to hone our craft! As a performer, I participate in our two shows per term. As a PR Officer, I: attend exec meetings, maintain social media, design posters, keep the communications board updated, record and choose quotes for show titles, work with Project Managers to maintain relationships with Galesburg community and outside Improv Troupes, and help Vice Presidents organize and publicize bonding events.
