I am a 54 year old Afghanistan War Vet that came home and decided to complete my education by becoming a teacher. I decided on this after I was tasked to be a mentor to the Afghanistan Army and realized that many of them could not read or write. I enjoyed the work and recalled that I had considered this field in the past but I was encouraged to go into another field. While in Afghanistan I realized that it was time for me to do what was best for me.
