Tyra Watts

Tyra Renee Watts, known professionally as Tyra Watts, is a full-time senior at Kean University majoring in Communications - Journalism. Currently, Tyra is a News Editor for The Tower, Kean Universitys independent student newspaper, where she writes and edits articles surrounding Kean University and whats going on within that community. Outside of Kean, Tyra works part-time at Walmart as a Frontend Team Associate, where she does cash register, customer service, self-checkout, and other job-related activities. In her spare time, Tyra is a small content creator on social media. Her content consists of story-telling, music, shopping hauls, and much more. Although she is introverted, Tyra is a hardworking individual and team player. She has a background experience in retail, customer service, and marketing. She is also eager to connect with people and gain new opportunities. Although her primary focus is on school, work, and content creation, Tyra is actively interested in internship opportunities that revolve around journalism, film/media, and editorial content.
