February, 21 2014 - The University of AkronNatural Resources Conservation Service, formerly known as the Soil Conservation Service is an agency of the United States Department of Agriculture that provides technical assistance to farmers and other private landowners and managers. The NRCS Akron/Cleveland Project in Summit County assists hoop house participants/community residents in getting information on and/or eligible for NRCS programs; facilitating hoop house construction and community/volunteer training; assessing the needs of participants and the community; documenting activities and assisting in developing a final report/document for the Federation of Southern Cooperatives.
Performing fee printing jobs for the college and university, including complex, multi-task procedures such as preparation, pre-press work, and stripping. Maintains runs and schedules the printing laboratories in consultation with faculty; conducts jobs for students and departments. Ensures safe operation of labs, including maintenance of MSDS and training for safe equipment operation. Supervises part-time student help.
