Piotr Walaszek

I am someone who has worked extremely hard my whole life to get where I am and intend to continue doing so for the rest of my life. Since I was 13 years old I worked as a caddy from sun up to sun down 6 days a week to help support my family which was struggling financially at the time. Little did I know that my summer job would provide me with the opportunity of a lifetime. I was given the opportunity to be surrounded by business professionals and speak with them on a regular basis, also I was awarded the Evans Scholarship which made it possible for me to receive the education that I deserved. The Evans Scholarship is something that continues to shape me as a person on a daily basis, is pushes me to be the best person that I can possibly be. As a transfer student I am trying my best to become as involved as I can on campus, I am currently the Pledge President of Phi Chi Theta, a business fraternity, and the Philanthropy Chair of the Evans Scholar house. I have always been passionate about business and hope to begin building valuable experiences through any possible internship this summer.
