Wen Jiang

When I just came to Iowa State University, I applied for a part-time job in ISU Dining. I work about ten hours per week. I transferred to three locations of ISU dining: Clyde's Express, Storm and Friley Window. I met with different people and communicate with them all the time. I learned how to balance the time of study and work and I know how to get well along with my colleagues. The most important experience that I get when I am working in ISU Dining is to observe how supervises and managers manage their employee and how to communicate with workers so that the workers are willing to do what they said. I also noticed that some valuable characteristics that they have, which are responsibility, hard-working, helpful, respect, and punctuality. I learn from them a lot. I am really hard-working when I work and I try my best to complete the tasks that managers give. I respect to other people and treasure their results. I enjoy working in ISU Dining and I already submit the application of supervisor. I hope if I become a supervisor, I can bring all the positive energy and useful technique into the ISU Dining.
