Wesley Bennett
As a current sophomore at Miami University's Farmer School of Business, I am pursuing a major in Finance with a strong dedication to building a successful career in the finance industry. Through my academic journey, I have developed a solid foundation in financial analysis, accounting, and various technical skills such as Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint. My educational experience has been complemented by active involvement in the Miami University Finance Association, where I have honed my financial skills and engaged in enriching discussions on critical financial topics.
My professional experience includes an internship at Todd Asset Management, where I gained hands-on experience in intrinsic value investment management, and a role as a produce clerk at Rego Brothers Lake Road Market, where I demonstrated excellent customer service and time management skills. These roles have allowed me to develop both my technical and soft skills, including communication, teamwork, and time management.
In the short term, I am focused on securing a summer finance internship to further enhance my practical knowledge and industry experience. Looking ahead, my long-term goal is to work at a reputable organization where I can continuously learn and contribute to the firm's success. I am particularly interested in roles such as private banking, private wealth management, asset management, and financial analysis.
With a passion for finance and a commitment to excellence, I am eager to connect with professionals in the industry and explore opportunities that align with my career aspirations.
