Willie Mason Jr
I am Willie James Mason Jr. and I have been a training officer for an Alabama Fire Department for the past year and a half. After working in the municipal fire department for 15 years. I decided to join the Alabama Fire college as well. At the Alabama Fire College, I proctor firefighters exams, administering JPR (job verification skills), and instruct certification classes. I am very passionate about the fire service, therefore, the move to join the Fire College was a natural fit. I have been in the fire service for 16 years. In my career at the fire service I have obtained a Fire Science degree (Columbia Southern University), Associates of Arts; Associates of Science (Wallace Community College Selma), and I am working on my Bachelor of Business (Troy University). In addition, I am enrolled in my last prerequisite class before I can start the nursing program.
The future career goal I have is to own a business and become a registered nurse (RN). I can tackle issues with a wide perspective and formulate effective problem resolution options. I am self-motivated, disciplined, and a firm executor of service before self. Therefore, I understand and have worked with different work styles, in which, it helps with team projects and independent projects. In the next five years I will be owning my own business, and working as a RN part-time. The most important thing in my life is serving God, spending time with family, and helping others. My hobbies include serving God, playing softball, playing video games, and building others up.
