William Parkinson

I hold the personal belief that (due to the relatively privileged circumstances I was born into) there is not excuse for me not to be a success. My current purpose is to invest my time into learning skills and knowledge that will help me in my future career. I am looking for a summer internship to prove my worth and gain hands-on experience. I strive to become an asset to any company that hires me. My philosophy is that no matter what I am doing, I might as well work to be the best that I can be at that position. When I work as a waiter, despite it not exactly being related to my field of interest, I strive to be the best waiter. Due to my interest in both Art and Science, and my liberal arts education, I possess various lenses in which to see the world. This facilitates originality in my ideas and problem-solving solutions. I also have been in multiple leadership roles and am comfortable speaking with larger groups and individuals. Besides the obvious rewards that come with an internship, (i.e: gain experience, connections, and knowledge) I hope to become an integral part of whatever the company is working on and have my presence add something.
