William Salvucci

I am a Junior enrolled at Miami University pursuing a major in Computer Science and minor in Russian. I am interested in working in the field of computer security, and I am studying to take the CompTIA Security+ test. I began to form an interest in computers around the age of 10 when I found out about the coding and work that went behind games and day to day applications. As I've grown older, applications have become more critical, and I've developed a deeper interest in the implications of computers in our every day lives, whether it be social media, news, or security. I hope to be able to take my knowledge one day to help the world operate more efficiently through the use of computers, while keeping people safe from cyber attacks at the same time. I am comfortable in public speaking environments, have good writing composition skills, and I am ready to take up leadership roles when necessary with my peers.
