William Bresnihan

I am currently a Senior in the Bioengineering department of Clemson University's College of Engineering and Science. My concentration is in Biomaterials Engineering. In terms of experience, I have worked for 4 months in the Nanomedicine Laboratory of Clemson's Bioengineering department as an undergraduate research assistant. The project included the development of microspheres for drug delivery. For eight weeks I worked on a team of graduate researchers of the Chemical Engineering Department at Chulalongkorn University in Bangkok, Thailand. The project involved the development of hydrogels to evaluate the encapsulation and loading efficiency for the delivery of chemotherapeutic drugs. I also served as the President of the South Carolina Nu chapter of Sigma Alpha Epsilon for the calender year of 2014. This position gave me valuable experience in terms of leadership skills, time management, and public speaking.
