Universidad San Ignacio de Loyola, Cusco, Peru. Participated in a two-unit course on water resources management, hydrography, and sustainable practices using Peru as a case study. Toured the hydroelectric facilities in Aguas Calientes and Machu Picchu as well as the water treatment plant in Cusco. Surveyed an Inca canal in TipĆ³n using HEC-RAS 4.1. Finished the program with a capstone outlining a hypothetical project to better manage water by irrigating crops using drip technology.
