Universidad San Ignacio de Loyola, Cusco, Peru. Participated in a two-unit course on water resources management, hydrography, and sustainable practices using Peru as a case study. Toured the hydroelectric facilities in Aguas Calientes and Machu Picchu as well as the water treatment plant in Cusco. Surveyed an Inca canal in Tipón using HEC-RAS 4.1. Finished the program with a capstone outlining a hypothetical project to better manage water by irrigating crops using drip technology.

Organizing political events, building solidarity, and getting students involved in activism on campus and in the community in causes related to social, economic, and environmental justice. Moderating regular weekly meetings to discuss current events, political philosophy, ways to draft platforms, and methods of conveyance for these platforms.
