Christine G. Adamo
Christine G. Adamo is a full-time, freelance writer, a small business owner and a former Marine Corps Sergeant. This disabled Gulf War veteran enrolled at Nazareth College, in the Fall of 2014, with a goal of wrapping up her senior year of study - thanks to the VA's Ch. 31 Voc. Rehab. benefits program and the support of area veterans' service agencies, such as the Vet Center.
She graduated with honors from Irvine Valley College, in 1997, with an AA in Liberal Arts and later went on to attend California State University Long Beach, where she pursued a BA in Print Journalism (Marketing minor), wrote for the Daily 49er, served as art director of University Magazine and consistently appeared on both the Dean's and President's Lists.
She left school and relocated to NY State following the death of her parents.
She currently resides in Rochester, NY, with a resuce dog named Ava, 500 of her favorite LPs and 400 of her favorite movies on Bluray, DVD and VHS tape. She writes for the school newspaper, "The Golden Gazette," under the moniker Naz Girl About Town and hosts a one-hour, weekly radio show called "The Vinyl Lunchbox" (as DJ Stylus), streaming live most Thurdays from 12:30 to 1:30pm EST on WNAZ The Beat.
