Varsity Cross Country
I have attended this sport since freshman year of high school until my senior year. I have enjoyed every moment because, I love running. Running shows not just physical strength but mental strength as well. Showing that you are ready for the big finish and to fight through pain and adversity. Also, cross country showed me how to become a team leader and how to show sportsmanship in this activity.

Varsity Track Team
In this sport I stayed with the same 4 events throughout my high school career. I ran the 200m, 4x4 Relay, 4x1 Relay and Javelin. I enjoyed every single second of this sport. Although we were all a team, I focused more on this sport more independently. I always strived to get better times and to stay on top. My father also competed in track and field for when he was in high school. So I also wanted to be as good as him or even better. Just like Cross Country, I cheered for everyone and learned to show great sportsman ship in between my events. I got hurt, laughed, cried, and screamed till I lost my voice. In the end it was all worth it.

Wamogo Jazz Band
I played in the Wamogo Jazz band in the rhythm section. I played Jazz guitar which was probably one of the best decisions I've made throughout my high school career. I've always loved music and I always loved playing guitar ever since I was little. I was encouraged to join this band by my friends. I had second thoughts but, in the end it was the best decision I made. I learned to love jazz and just how much fun playing in an actual band can be. My first year was my junior year where I just played rhythm guitar and laid down some fresh chords with the bass and drum player. My last year which was my senior year, I played rhythm, threw in some licks and had three guitar solos. I created all the solos that I've played making my musical vocabulary stronger and my skills better. As I learned to play lead guitar I always changed up my solos to make them better as well.

High School Band
I only did one year of band which was my senior year. I loved music so much and I just wanted to explore more in what it had in store. There was no tuba player this year so I chose to pick up the instrument. I picked up tuba quickly throughout the year and I played everyday in and outside of school. Tuba is now my second favorite instrument and I want to buy one and keep playing it throughout my life.
