Xavier Peralta

My name is Xavier Peralta. I am currently a rising senior in the Biomedical engineering program at Clemson University. I am doing a dual degree program between Clemson University and Anderson University. The program is a 3 - 3, which means three years at each institution. I was blessed to have played varsity baseball for Anderson University while completing my Physics degree. This past summer I was able to intern at the Savannah River Site for the second time and also had the opportunity to shadow in the operating at Lexington Medical Center and Georgia Regions University. Shadowing at the hospital was a great experience because I was able to see how the sales representatives of Medtronics and Stryker interacted with the doctors during surgery. Being in the hospital helped me see the medical devices we have in this world and make me want to further advance these devices and distribute them to the people in need of help.
