It doesnt matter where you are, you are nowhere compared to where you can go. Living abroad, thousands of miles from my family, for 8 years has taught me that there is nothing more rewarding than conquering my timidity in the face of the unknown, consistently fighting for my goals, overcoming failure, and, most importantly, seeing the impact of my efforts on my beloved family and friends, the organizations I support , and society as a whole. These motivations drive me to succeed. I sharpened my leadership, decision-making, and analytical skills in past work experiences. At Roland Berger, I played a key role in increasing the number of natural gas customers throughout 20 cities in China by 150 million and reducing the cost of gas distribution by $3 million. While at Dell, I quickly became proficient in different types of software and new machine learning algorithms and used these tools to increase the efficiency of the online security system from 81% to 98%. During my Senior Design project, I led a team of 8 to design strategic capital investment plans and a risk mitigation framework for Dominion Virginia Power with an expected cost savings of $3.3 billion over a 25-year planning horizon. I also led the development of reports and presentations used to present our findings to the client. My experiences in consulting, technology and the energy industry give me a unique combination of insight into different fields and demonstrate that I can adapt to different industries quickly to make an impact for my clients and the firm. Beyond my professional experience, I have experience as the chief player of a Chinese orchestra with over 10 years of performance experience. As a resident advisor, I managed relationships with over 90 residents and developed community building strategies for the Freshman Experience Program. I also provided pro bono consulting service to different campus organizations.
