Yvonne is a junior majoring in Mechanical Engineering at Miami University . She is looking for an internship that would enable her practice and improve on her analysis skills using Excel and Matlab. She loves designing and carrying out computation in an effort to solve problems. Yvonne is very passionate about environmental sustainability and was even the Eco Representative of the Community Leadership Team at Mary Lyon Residence Hall. Here, she would research and educate the residents of Mary Lyon Residence Hall on various Eco Facts. She also established a project on recycling wastes from various residence halls. Yvonne is also the International Students' Representative in Miami Dining Committee whereby she suggested the occasional preparation of food from different countries in dining halls so that all students from a diverse background feel included. Through these experiences, she developed her communication and problem solving skills. Yvonne would like to improve her analytical and problem solving skills by taking up any opportunity in the fields of engineering application to enhance sustainability.
