Guido is the Assistant Vice President of Congressional Affairs for the Air-conditioning, Refrigeration and Heating Institute (AHRI), the leading trade association of manufacturers of heating, cooling, refrigeration and water heating products. In his role as director, Mr. Zucconi is responsible for implementing legislative strategy affecting the over 300 association members of AHRI. As an industry and as an organization, Guido focuses his attention on energy efficiency, tax legislation and providing regulatory certainty for manufacturers. He has also on international energy issues focusing on climate change policy while working in Congressional Affairs at the German Marshall Fund of the United States, an international policy and research foundation. Prior to GMF, Mr. Zucconi worked on Capitol Hill for 6 years as a legislative aide to Representative Tom Lantos of California, former Chair of the House Foreign Affairs Committee, handling a number of domestic policy issues.
