Aaron Cannon

I'm a junior computer science major at Cedarville University, searching for summer opportunities to both apply what I am learning and also serve my coworkers and company customers with passion and commitment. I was born in Poland, where I lived for 15 years as a missionary kid. It was an incredible period of my life, giving me a broad understanding of other cultures and traditions. This has had an enormous impact on my life and worldview. Ever since I could remember, I have had a passion for problem solving, both using hardware and software. I have enjoyed feeding that passion through designing, fabricating, and coding robots for my school's robotics teams in addition to finding a new passion for data analytics when I was given the opportunity to collect and analyze data on both ours and competing teams and robots. I currently have the opportunity of honing all my skills and passions through earning a computer science degree at the university of my dreams (Cedarville University). Their incredible program has allowed me to grow not only as an aspiring software engineer but as a person as well. I hope to be able to use what I am learning while also continuing to grow through whatever experiences come my way in the future.
