Andrea Bernet

I am a mother (of two), a girl friend, a career women, and a full-time student. For the last two-years I have been involved with a nonprofit organization that supports foster families, called Threads of Change Berks. Being involved with Threads has really opened my eyes to the need of the foster community, which I was not aware existed. This experience has really opened my eyes to so many aspects of the world and how much a team of people can do to help others when the need is there. It has truly been a great experience and honor to serve on Threads board of directors and to be apart of their administration team with creating and maintaining their website. I am also a 2018 graduate from Reading Area Community College with a trio-degree in Computer Information Systems.AA, IT Website Development.AAS, and Anthropology Social Science.AA degrees. I am presently pursuing my Bachelors of Science degree through Albright College in Information Systems and Management and I should be complete the B.S. program by the end of 2020. I presently work in Harrisburg for the PA House of Representatives, Democratic Informations Technology as their Technology Trainer.
