Means to overcome Change is as simple as finding a new target to aim for. Quit playing the victim. Reach out and claim life with every breath every beat of your heart. Take today for what it is. Opportunity to be a better you than you were yesterday. Smile as you are walking down the street. Offer help when you see struggling and need. Always speak complements running through your brain. "Goodwill" does not require monetary gifts. Even the poor man can give away kindness. Look at each man, woman, and child as a chance to offer love into this world. See them through compassionate eyes. Set aside your differences. Realize they are simply human ... just like you ... no more, no less. Be a light in this world. It is not our right or destiny to rule the world. It is our privilege as an intellectual being to protect all of life. Walk in love and know peace. Shine light into this world filled with so much darkness. Be an illumination to those who would walk in shadows. True peace cannot be obtained through violence or oppression. It never results in permanency. Any "peace" won through violent acts breed dissention. This fragile truce will crumble under the strain put on those wronged. Religion is a personal choice. Constitutional rights are a privilege given to all citizens. Do not impose your religious beliefs on others who do not share them. Do not treat others poorly because they do not subscribe to your version of the truth. Every man and woman was created equal ... as a human being ... Teat them that way regardless of your beliefs. Your beliefs are meant to guide you in your personal walk through this world. They are your own, not to dictate which path others should take in theirs. This is free-will personal responsibility what comes with being human The Who we ultimately become in our lives must be reached on ones' own. The true meaning of "MORALITY" is "Do no harm" Finding religion does not make one moral. accepting your responsibility to humanity does. It is not about which religious law you live your life by ... it is the light or the darkness you share in this world. Our journey in this life is a very simple choice between light and darkness. Every life that chooses light has a responsibility. Light is an energy which is reflected from and magnified by all surfaces it encounters. Shadow and darkness consume the light acting like a dimmer switch. We have to make the choice; be a light in this world be a darkness which consumes the light allow the shadows to dim the light we receive from others rather than magnifying it. Fire has to be applied in certain measure ... polished and redefined ... before the surface can become reflective in nature. Too much heat and not enough tenderness scorch the surface and ruin the reflective nature of the material. Be open to the truth and the light. It is not about stroking egos. It is not about forcing your ideas and opinions on others. Rather it is about allowing them to come to these same conclusions. Respect for them as human beings do NOT thrust your beliefs upon them. If the ideas themselves are sound and based in: truth .. light love compassion They will find their way - They will see the light shining from within you. The light will always outshine the darkness. Be patient and wait for the world to open its eyes and see it. Frustration at peoples ignorance, hatred, bigotry, mean spirited natures it is the darkness in this world that you are frustrated with not the people. People can be redefined, but they have to want to be redefined. They have to reach the conclusion that there is a better way full of love and happiness. If they do not reach this on their own their light will always be dimmed by the shadows they choose to surround themselves with. Our ultimate goal in life, regardless of your religion, is to choose between light and shadow. Do your actions and words bring light into the world around you or cast a shadow of darkness? Light reflects and allows others in turn to become a light of their own. Shadow and darkness consume. Make the choice to quit being the light which is dimmed by the shadows. Remove the negative energy from your life. Learn to live your life by extending love and compassion, and light up the world. Be peace. Be love. Shine on
