S.N.A.P.

Sanford Near-Space Automated Photography. A club formed by a Freshman science teacher that built and sent a capsule with cameras into the stratosphere via helium balloon. The capsule had a GPS so it could be located after landing, and both that were sent off were successfully retrieved.

Drama Club

While Cushing was involved, the Drama Club put on three shows: 'A Christmas Chaos' and 'The Importance of Being Earnest' her Junior year and 'Annie' her Senior year. She acted in the first two plays and was mainly an ensemble member for the third.

Poetry Slam

A club that met once a week to present and critique poetry they had written themselves. The overseer organized several coffee house events where students could perform their poetry to an audience.

A club that met for two hours each week and worked on both original shorts, 48 Hour festival entries, and assisted with some outside projects from local production companies.

Bakery Assistant at Dickerman Dining Commons

Followed recipes and instructions to make a finished and well presentable product, both individually and with other employees. Cleaned both work stations and overall area.
