Currently, I am interning at Eastern Connecticut State Universitys Center for Community Engagement. In this role, I am in charge of formulating a current PR plan for the center, generating articles for both the universitys newspaper as well as an outside subscription Neighbors, monitoring and updating social media accounts via Hootsuite, and designing various posters/flyers. As a junior majoring in Communications with a concentration in Public Relations/Advertising and minoring in Business, I am extremely dedicated to my role as a student and a budding professional. I am passionate about expanding my experience into as many different areas as possible and consider networking a vital aspect to success. My specialties include external/internal communications, social media, client interface/customer service, Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Access, Outlook, and Publisher), Adobe CS5.5 Suite (Photoshop Pro, Photoshop Elements 13), Audacity, and Garageband. As a young professional, I am always looking to develop marketable skills through the advice and tutelage of those more experienced, so please feel free to connect with me.
