Kevin Adetoye

Majored in Business Economics, Minored in Computer Information Systems,
Georgia State University, Class of 2018
From Atlanta, Georgia
Throughout my career, I have been taught that adaptability in the IT industry is the key to success -- whether as a team leader or while working in tandem with others toward a common goal. Before beginning my career, I attended the University of Georgia, where I received a bachelor's degree in Computer Sciences. While in school, I learned the theory of how to design systems and their functions. I also interned with Bluth Enterprises, where I successfully: Developed a back-end content management system to support corporate messaging Designed and implemented a financial management tool that resulted in $2 million in cost savings My first job after graduation was as a full-time junior applications developer with Bluth Enterprises - the logistics company that I had interned as a student. In this position, I learned fundamental skills which transformed me from a recent graduate into a valuable business asset, such as: establishing a detailed program requirements breaking down program specifications iand translating them into programming language combining all program elements and testing them testing sample data-sets to check that output from the program works as intended After three years at Bluth, I decided to try my hand at contact application development. For the last five years, I have worked in with small to mid-size firms in industries from healthcare to banking to non-profits. These projects have helped me to grow technically; I have mastered the following: database design object oriented design language proficiency in: Java, SQL, and C++ I am currently looking to join a start-up where I can apply my expertise to a fast-paced and growing culture. When I can, I like to volunteer at my local animal shelter and Boys & Girls Club of America. When I'm not working or volunteering, I like to step away from the computer and get outside. I am an avid hiker with a passion for the outdoors. Please feel free to contact me at pwilliams@email.com or 444-867-1119.
