I'm a senior undergraduate Music Industry major with a minors in Event Planning and Business Communications. Throughout my time as an undergraduate student, I worked on projects pertaining to management and marketing, as well as leading events and radio programming and broadcasting, enabling me to develop and enhance skills in written and verbal communication, creativity, leadership, planning and organizing, and negotiating. After completing my Bachelor of Arts at SUNY Oneonta, I hope to continue working in radio, primarily in programming and promotions, personal artist management, as well as event planning. Currently I am seeking a summer internship and employment opportunities at urban contemporary radio stations programming and production departments, as well as event management with an emphasis on urban music and cultures. Work Experience

Entertainment News Co-Anchor for Hot Music Now at The Wire TV

The Wire TV is SUNY Oneonta's student-run television station. The station produces over four hours of original programming each week, in addition to Live Sporting events. Hot Music Now is the station's music countdown show, which features five-video countdowns, entertainment news, and live student performances. As an Entertainment News co-anchor for Hot Music Now, I deliver weekly newscasts regarding American entertainment and pop culture to viewers.

OH Factor Co-Coordinator at OH Fest 11

OH Factor, previously known as Battle of the Bands, is a student artist competition amongst SUNY Oneonta and Hartwick College students. OH Factor participants compete against one another to open up for the headliner of the OH Fest concert, which is taking place on April 23rd, 2016. The five runner ups of the competition will perform on the Main Street stage during the afternoon carnival. As a co-coordinator of OH Factor, my responsibilities include: • Co-supervising day-of operations and activities for student opener competition, OH-Factor • Co-planning logistics, promotions, and marketing for competition • Reviewing submissions from prospective student competitors • Acting as a runner for day-of activities during OH-Fest festival • Working with Planning Committee members on event promotions and publicity

Founded in 1962, WONY broadcasts digitally (via wonyfm.com and the mobile TuneIn app) and on terrestrial radio stations in the immediate area. As the 2015-2016 General Manager of the station, my job is to ultimately oversee the radio station and its 50 members.

WONY Oneonta 90.9FM is SUNY Oneonta's free-form student-run radio station. Founded in 1962, WONY broadcasts digitally (via wonyfm.com and the mobile TuneIn app) and on terrestrial radio stations in the immediate area. As a station member with over three years of on-air experience, I've had a great deal of hands-on experience working within the studio and hosting two shows per week. One show, entitled Mondays at the Bodega is an urban contemporary talk show I co-host with Susanne "TinyySue" Salce on Mondays from 2PM to 4PM whenever classes are in session. Additionally, I host my own show, The Adjani Reed Show, where I play music within the urban genres (urban contemporary, urban adult contemporary, urban oldies).
