International students: I along with 3 other Masters students organized 4 workshops to hold for one hour once a week for the international students from China. Through these workshops, we informed the international students the general American college application process, TOEFL exam, resume writing, personal statement writing, and the importance of being engaged in extra-curricular activities among others. Domestic students: Organized a similar workshop designed to encourage and assist high-school students in the path to college except, I designed this workshop for students from the United States of America who do not have to take additional steps such as gaining student Visa and taking the TOEFL.

Provide free hands on medical and dental care, as well as an oral presentation on dental health and decay prevention to Haitian/Dominican residents of resource scarce villages called Bateyes. Providing free medical and dental care in the bateyes yearly has helped improve the overall health of the residents as patient specific preventative care plans are also created.

The results found that using natural products are a great way to produce biologics and small molecules and can be feasible by taking steps such the use of technologically advanced procedures and selecting the appropriate efficient and cost-effective medium
