As a long-term side project, I have collaborated with my hometown's conservancy to develop an informational mobile app for the city parks. Worked with city leadership to brainstorm potential design strategies, while discussing implementation with technical contractors. Successfully completed design and developed working prototype of iOS mobile app, adopting a modular framework to allow for low-maintenance future additions. Technologies utilized: Location services to present geofenced notifications when approaching parks Remote push notifications to alert users of city events Modular JSON-based backend, caching downloaded park information locally Rich animations and adoption of an intuitive UI design
