RIT Dubai students advance in innovation challenge.
I formed and lead a team of students from RIT Dubai to participate in the KPMG Innovation and Collaboration Challenge. The topic was regarding a business model, process, or technological innovation that could be leveraged to better the health and wellbeing of a disadvantaged community in the UAE. After our application, when we were chosen to attend the national-level competition, our team went through a multi-day evaluation, ideation, and design-thinking workshop that culminated in a presentation to a 9 partner panel that selected us as the competition's winners.
We will be proceeding to Buenos Aires for the international competition.
