As a sales associate I took phone calls from possible members and answered any questions they may of had about our memberships and workouts. I set up in-office appointments to speak with members one-on-one. I attempted to upsell them to different memberships when needed. I know how to navigate MindBody software as that is the system we used for our classes and keeping track of our members.

As a reservationist I am responsible for taking many phone calls and making them as well. I am to be very energetic and willing to fulfill every customer’s request. I have to let people know of our policies or even try to upsell them to other activities or better accommodations. I was named Employee of the Month for July, 2015 just two months after being hired. This past year I trained to be a Zip Line Guide for Zoar and successfully completed the training. The training included being First Aid/CPR certification, understanding what to do in an emergency, know what is safe behavior while up in the trees, and have great communication skills. Each trip is three hours long with a maximum of two guides and eight guests. The Sweep Guide, my role, is responsible for the most communication with the guests and to make sure they are properly hooked up to the zip line each time.
