Akhter Al Amin

I am second-year PhD Student of Computing and Information Science at the Rochester Institute of Technology and graduate research assistant of the Accessibility group at the CAIR(Center for Accessibility and Inclusion Research) Lab. My research prospect is in computer accessibility for people who are Deaf or Hard of Hearing, assistive technology for people with disabilities, human-computer interaction, and computational linguistics. My prime research space is caption technology, metric, and usability. Additionally, my research focused on incorporating Machine Learning technology in captioning services to provide salient caption experience to Deaf and Hard of Hearing individuals.
