Alan Waldman

I am currently a sophomore studying Finance and Economics at the Olin Business School at Washington University in St. Louis. I am motivated by finance and economics because finance provides me with methods to value an asset and economics allows me a vantage point from which to asses an asset within an economic context. Also, I am researching in the field of Behavioral Economics, which promulgates the idea that humans and animals are predictably irrational. This mindset allows me to identify irrationalities in investing and stray away from them. I have learned financial valuation methods from the Training The Street course as well as through my studies. Now, I am currently looking for an internship in the financial services sector.
