Alban Marceau Nana Nkoundja

Majored in Engineering Technology
Miami University , Class of 2019
I am grateful for the opportunity to study at Miami University, and I am happy for the good quality of the education they offer. Nelson Mandela once said '' It is always impossible until it is done". And I totally agree. I really survived because of this quote, it gave me hope whenever times was tough. On my last semester I did something I never done in my life with is working fully time and going to school full time with 5 classes with the senior design project included. In many days I had to wake up at 3am to get ready get to work, I finished work at 3pm and classes started at 4PM and usually ended around 10pm. I was big challenge. Thank God we (all the support team: family friends, professors) made. I completed all the 5 classes with the senior design project beautifully with straight A in each of them. I discovered that other part of me I was not sure of last semester. I believe that this experience will be fundamental for the rest of everything I do from now on. Robotics, industrial automation or artificial intelligence are interesting to me. I play soccer, tutor, participate in volunteer a community organization where I teach Medumba language especially to kids. I am the head of the sports and culture at Columbus Bamileke Association.

The project has 4 aspects: the project management , the mechanical, the electrical and the programmming aspect. The project was concluded by a demo, a presentation at Miami University and a report.
