Alexandra Bechtel

During Alexandra's six month internship at the South Dakota district office, she worked directly under the supervision of the state director for the International Trade Center. Her responsibilities comprised of mass communication and correspondence via email and telephone, data entry and analysis, and event advertising and set up. She also prepared shippers export declarations, filed harmonized commodity codes into global import and export documents, and provided informative guidance to our global trade center clients.

As an operations intern at the largest trust and asset protection company in the Midwest, Alexandra gained knowledge of a variety of global trust and asset protection documents within the private and public sectors. Her internship focused primarily on ensuring correct filing procedures within the accounting system. She also played an important role in creating amortization schedules for life insurance policies and trust documents.
