I am so excited to be pursuing my passions at Nazareth College! I danced for thirteen years and competed for nine before coming to Nazareth. I also volunteer at Heritage Square Museum in Ontario, NY, which is where I discovered my love for anthropology. In the future, I plan on combining my two majors to focus on dance anthropology.

Alexandra Horgan was recognized for studying abroad
In 2018, I traveled to Rennes, France, with my high school to stay with host families and engage in French culture. We toured the city of Rennes and the Brittany region, learning its rich history and developing a deeper knowledge of the language. I established strong connections with my host family and stay in contact with them, continuing to learn about their culture. This trip also encouraged me to find a pen pal, and with the help of my French teacher, I was set up with a girl my age to teach each other our languages and cultures.

Assets Club
While in Assets Club, the members organized events such as Relay for Life and raised money for Sexual Assault Awareness Month and the Victim Resource Center. We also worked to bond the school community and held contests for prizes and made gifts for teachers.
