I began this wonderful journey of grad school to pursue my dreams in January of 2017. I can hardly believe that I am about to graduate. This has been the most fulfilling and worthwhile dream that I have chased. I have learned more about counseling, myself, and trusting the process than I could have ever expected. I have been fortunate enough to have two different sites for completion of practicum and internship and while it's not ideal, I gained more experience working with different populations and settings. I knew I was a hard worker prior to this program but this program allowed my hard work and determination to truly shine. Through my academic success, I was inducted to the international honors society for counselors in spring of 2018. Due to my reliability and leadership qualities I was nominated and selected to be committee chair of social events for Webster's chapter. I have planned and hosted several successful events. I am eager to graduate and get started working in the field.
