Volunteering
Volunteer work at the Blazing Hope Ranch, which is a nonprofit organization that helps women and children who have been human trafficked. Helped with yard work, the horse stables, down trees, etc.
Volunteer to make lap blankets and Christmas cards for the elderly in a local nursing home. Added beads and toys to the blanket for them to fiddle with.

In this program, students who have a good work ethic and GPA is given an opportunity to volunteer and paticipate in workshops that better our knowledge of life after college. Some workshops include taxes, coping skills, how to spend and save money, grad. school events etc.
