As I continue my college career, I will continue my study of Accounting and Management Information Systems (MIS), with the intention to minor in Marketing. Success, to me, means creating a positive effect on others lives. Whether it be making an impact on the company I work for, clients and/or employees I work with, or my family, I strive to achieve success every day. With that said, I take a lot of pride in the education I have and continue to receive. Earning a double major in Accounting and Management Information Systems (MIS) will give me a competitive advantage in IT auditing. Saint Francis University states, the Accounting program I am studying prepares me for the workforce. Whether it is private, public, or governmental accounting, I will be introduced and educated in a variety of fields, including auditing, cost accounting, financial accounting, financial analysis and taxes. Because I have successfully gained knowledge of the basic principles of accounting, I will now begin to develop critical thinking skills to analyze financial statements, control costs, prepare budgets, and make decisions based on accounting data. Saint Francis University states, the Management Information Systems Program will successfully prepare me to analyze, design, develop, manage and maintain management information systems and information technology. While successfully learning, I will continue to engage in service and leadership opportunities, such as Enactus USA and Saint Francis University's B.R.I.D.G.E. Program. My education and success at Saint Francis University, along with the skills I pick up within the real world, has already initiated a successful future for me, and I am very eager to continue my journey. I like to consider myself a very sociable, loyal and honest individual. I exhibit leadership qualities, excellent collaboration skills, dedication and perseverance, along with upright morals and ethics.
