Alivia Glas

Im Alivia Glas, a 3rd year Biomedical Engineering student at Georgia Tech with a minor in Chemistry & Biochemistry. I have excelled academically and led effectively, having boosted enrollment in the student organization Beta Beta Beta Biology Honors Society by 227% as President. My technical skills include Autodesk CAD, anatomy & physiology research, prototyping, and verification testing. Ive worked on projects like a transcutaneous electrical nerve stimulating foot insole and a portable EMG monitor, applying my knowledge to real-world problems. In research labs, Ive contributed to studies on metastatic breast cancer and cardiac bioenergetics, honing my skills in literature review, cell culture, and biochemical assays. Additionally, I have recently begun working on a project for Innovation Management under the Executive Vice President for Research (EVPR) Office at Georgia Tech, where we are working on creating a platform for researchers to connect. As a Student Assistant at Georgia Tech Finance & Planning, I work with several senior directors and managers on various tasks as needed, including co-leading a service project supporting employees and their families. Im passionate about innovation and eager to make a difference in biomedical engineering with my creativity, problem-solving abilities, and strong work ethic. Lets connect!
