January, 05 2022 - Bloomsburg, a Commonwealth UniversityI work as a non-certified CNA from 2-10 PM at William Penn in Lewistown, PA. I pass towels and ice at the beginning of the shift, take supper orders, pass out supper, get my residents washed and/or bathed, help them in bed, and take them to the bathroom throughout the day. I usually take care of anywhere from 9-12 residents a night. Alongside providing care, I give my residents an opportunity to talk to me about everyday life when they may not otherwise get the chance to. At the end of every shift, I have to have all of my charting done as well.
As a lifeguard I work with other people to ensure that everyone that comes to the pool is safe, I provide help when needed, and I keep the pool and surrounding area clean and free of debris.
