I am one of two selected interns for the Transient Glory Conducting Workshop (June 28-30, 2017), led by Dr. Janet Galvan (Ithaca College) and Francisco Nunez (Young People's Chorus of New York City). In addition to organizing details and materials, I participated in the workshop, leaning advanced choral conducting techniques and strategies.
I continue to work directly under Dr. Janet Galvan in day-to-day office work.
I completed my Junior Student Teacher at the Immaculate Conception School (ICS), where I taught fifth-grade general music. I met with students twice a week for class, resulting in a concert performance with the other ICS classes at Ithaca College in May 2017.
During the fall 2016 semester, I taught general music classes for students ages 9-11 at Tompkins, Seneca, Tioga (TST) BOCES in the Smith School for special education.
