Clinical Mental Health Counseling student and current substance abuse counselor with the honor of coordinating the PAWsitivity canine Training program at my facility that works in conjunction with our substance abuse treatment programming. My goals for the future are to complete my master's degree and obtain my license for clinical mental health counseling. Once licensed I plan to obtain the training and certification for animal-assisted therapy to combine my passion for helping people with my passion for working with animals.

Offender Rehabilitation Coordinator at New YORK State Department of Corrections and Community Supervision

Coordinate and oversee the functioning of Alcohol & Substance Abuse Treatment Program for incarcerated individuals. Supervise alcohol & substance abuse treatment program assistants. Complete release planning and parole preparation for incarcerated individuals and communicate with community supervision offices they will be sent to.
